This is an easy one. I would just tell my wife that what she is suggesting is a bit unreasonable, and something I would never do. However, because of my easy-going nature, I won't stand in her way, if it's what she wants to do.
I never treat my wife like a child, so if she's interested camping at home in the winter, I assume she's capable of learning how to make it possible, and making the necessary repairs if something goes wrong.
Armed with the facts, I'm reasonably certain she'll reach the same, informed decision as me, and leave the trailer in the storage facility where it belongs.
