We have a Honda Pilot 4WD w/ tow package, and tow a Livin Lite VRV w/ it. We have an older 6x15 VRV, which I don't think they make that small anymore. We have 4 kids. This brand is all-aluminum without any wood in it, really making it lightweight. I found that a lot of small traditional RVs say they're "featherlight" but really weigh 3,500 or more!
If your kids are already teenagers, they are all the same gender, they've been raised tent camping....then I suggest you buy a small RV and have the kids continue to sleep in a tent together. Most State Parks (at least where we've been) will allow 1 tent on a site w/ an RV. This is what we've started doing w/ our kids and they like it best anyways (we also tent camped before the RV).
We don't spend time during the day in our RV (just like we didn't in the tent!). It's to sleep in. So we don't need a big one. There is a small toilet room w/ a shower nozzle. And our kitchen is a countertop w/ a sink, which is nice to wash dishes in. We still use a cooler. Still cook outside.
