Re-purpose TV Cabinet
We have a TV cabinet that we don't use, except for snacks. Added a shelf and railing to it.

Nice job on the shelving. - The middle shelf rests all along the cove moulding on the 2 back edges so it's very strong. The moulding is glued and tacked to the wall. I haven't decided how to attach the shelf to the moulding because I want to be able to remove it at a later date. I'll probably put a couple of wood screws at the back through the shelf into the moulding to keep it in place without glue. That way I can take it out easily if I need to.
- Looks good. I also have a gaping hole in a cabinet where the tv used to be. I was thinking of making a hinged mirror to go over the opening. Now I will be considering your modification.
Maybe you could reduce the image to the forum rule of maximum 640? - Nice job!

How did you attach the middle shelf to the wall?
I need to add some to several cabinets but worried about making them strong enough to hold items - Really nice.
