Once it's done, you're good pretty much for life. It's more puncture proof, UV proof, and rugged. In fact, I don't know why the manufacturers don't just use this to start. I've seen their work, and it's amazing. You might try to find out if there's anything like that in your area.
I have heard of that. But, I don't have a rubber roof....all fiberglass. I just need to re-do the factory sealant around the penetrations.
