The last spring we stayed at a campground that was size limited to their main camp ground so the put us in the back lot,
It was crazy rolling through hundreds of 25-40' rigs all stocked up right on top of each other.
On our side we had ten spots on either side of us unti the next camper.
That's been the closest we've been to being shut out of a campground.
