Coming from a background backpacking with a micro tent, not much about the RV lifestyle seems like roughing it to me. It all seems so luxurious. :)
We do try to minimize our belongings on trips, but with 3 kids, their clothes really add up on longer trips. Plus, one of our kids is still a baby, so we have all the stuff that goes with keeping him clean, dry, fed, entertained, contained, carried, etc....
I dunno, it does seem silly to complain, but when we're about to spend so much money on a camper, I want to try and get mostly what we want. And storage is high on my list of priorities.
