After driving 1.5 million miles as an OTR driver I have seen my fair share of improper tow setups on many diff vehicles. The cost difference between a super hitch extension and others is a small price to pay for having it for a towing event that a person may need. To me it is just smart to put on the best for what you need even if it means getting something which some ppl consider overkill. Just my bullet for the dead horse.
