I just went through this decision with my 2016 Ram 2500 and AF 811. The truck would haul the camper but I knew I was over weight for the truck. Yes I had air bags and sway bar for added stability however, for my peace of mind, I went to a F450 and built a frame for the 18 inch front space. I just returned from a hunting trip and I can say with confidence that the larger truck handles better and I feel better knowing I am not over weight.
