Real weights of an arctic Fox 1140?

Does anyone have any documented ready to use weights? I have a 2008 crew cab duramax dually I know I am going to be "over" the 11,400 gvwr but how far is the real question?

Curb weight is way light. Mine weighs in at 7800 (see pic above)

I think those weights are for something other than a D/A CC dually.
The GVWR is way low too.

My GVWR is 11,400 or 11,200.... I can't remember which.

I would bet it's well over 4500 wet weight.

I can say this, with my AF811, I'm overloaded based on the truck GVWR on my 2009 D/A CC 4x4 LB.

This photo was with full propane, 2 batteries, 2/3 tank of fresh water, on my way home from the dealer when I bought the camper. NO Gear in it at all.

This was my "truck is empty, just me the driver, and about 7/8 tank of fuel, on the way to the dealer" photo. (same truck scale)

These photos show that my wet weight is 4120+ (11920-7800=4120)

  • All I can give you is the mfg's dry weight of 3,465# for the basic model without options. From the brochure it's a nice looking TC.

On further checking, NADA says your curb weight is 6401#. For a diesel dully that seems awfully light. It also says you have a max payload of 3,499# and a GVWR of 9,900#.

If you add the bare camper weight of 3,465# plus the curb weight of 6,401# you get 9,866#. So you'll be 34# under weight as long as you don't get in the truck and don't put any fuel, water, propane, clothes, food, camper tie-downs or anything else in it. Your mileage may vary.
