Everybody's answer is going to be different, because their vehicle configuration, driving mannerisms, and driving conditions are different.
Not only that, but some go by what the lie-o-meter states while others go by hand calculated mileage. I record hand calculted numbers every tank (tax reasons) while also recording and resetting the lie-o-meter every tank as well.
Every vehicle I have owned from Ford's to Mercedes have been off. Some newer vehicles are only off by as mush as 2.5 mpg while my older ones were off by as much as 5 mpg. I tend to dismiss anyone that states their lie-o-meter mileage.
