There is no glaring issue with any of the current half tons, or in the last 10 years for that matter. Test drive all of them. One of them will just feel right you you.
Tundra is fine, as is Silverado. Which ever you pick, get the most powerful engine and shortest axle ratio from the respective brand.
Tundra: 5.7L/4.30
Ram: 5.7L/3.92
GM Twins: 5.3L/3.42
F-150 3.5L 5.0L or Ecoboost with 3.55
They will all get very close to the same unloaded and towing fuel economy, that 1-2mpg real world difference does not matter as much in annual cost compared to value of just enjoying the one you have to live with every day. I will point out that Tundra is 4th in sales to F-150, Silverado/Sierra/Ram by a wide margin. Others sell about 1.5 million to 100k. That many people are not wrong, so again, find what you like best.
FWIW, our 2011 Suburban with similar engine/transmission designs at the half ton pickups has been rock solid reliable in 6yr/100k miles and besides fuel, very inexpensive to own and operate. Oil changes every 6-8k miles, and other fluids at periodic intervals.
