If I understand correctly, the two parties are $439 apart. The cooling off period is a good idea. During this period you need to evaluate how bad you want that trailer, how big a downside it will be to travel out of state to buy, and what confidence you have in the local dealer and his service department. If they don't call back and accept your offer you could meet them half way on the $439, but you take that route you must be ready to walk.
