The prodigy controllers are great. Save yourself a few bucks and buy the hitch and install yourself. Get something with built in sway control like the Equil-I-zer. Installing is not that hard, plenty of videos online plus it's good to know how it works. You'll usually have to re-adjust a dealer installed job anyways, as they adjust it with an empty trailer.
I agree that reputation for after sales service should take priority over a few hundred bucks. I also find that if you don't buy where you take it for service, you may be treated as lower priority with poorer service.
