There is a reason why Wooden Sailboats and Motorboats (Chris-Kraft) and wooden motorhomes have ended up in the hands of the rich or those that have lots of time to spend maintaining them. This would be the biggest issue for me. As well as torsional twist, for the overall life of the Camper. Eventually the Cedar will turn grey, if not treated, or black if it is (look at Cedar sided homes)so it will look very different with time.
If you don't mind spending time maintaining the camper, keeping things tight and repaired, go for it!
