Our kids were 14 & 16 when we bought ours. We opted for the RLS instead of bunks because we knew it wouldnt be long before they quit going with us. Jayco dont make our floorplan any longer, but we love it. It isnt that difficult to fold out the couch and lay down the dinette, but I didnt have to do it, they did if they wanted a bed to sleep on instead of the floor or ground.
