A big factor is how much you drive your truck without the camper on it.
I went the airbag route because my truck is also my daily driver. I don’t want it stiff all the time.
If I were going to have the camper on all or most of the time I’d go with the heavier springs.
If I were you I’d just bolt in those Helwig overload springs and try it out before cutting anything off or doing anything more involved.
Then if it’s still too soft put in the other springs, but the part I don’t understand is if you have to cut off your overload brackets, doesn’t that nullify your Helwig overloads?
