I've even started looking on E-Bay & am still finding the roadmaster to be twice the price but, The wife/boss agrees with me that its better to spend more the 1st time then not being happy with the cheaper way & then spending the money later to do what you should of done the 1st time. - pjay9ExplorerI have the back only...made a real difference! - Blanco1ExplorerI do like the fact that its a bigger bar & with as much traveling as I have in mind it might be worth it?
I'm also wondering if just fixing the stock set up would satisfy me?
Money is always an issue with me. :(
I figure for now I would replace the front with a simple Poly bushing set up.
But like the idea of bigger out back due to the LARGE Lance 900. - pjay9ExplorerBlanco...if you come up I 5 to Vancouver, WA you could stop at the plant and have it factory direct. Mine didn't have a model when I got mine so they brought out a number of bars and fittings until they figured it out for my truck...good folks at Roadmaster...bigger is better for sure in this case. Also took my boat along as they wanted to see if it was better towing. Plus I then just went fishing in the Columbia...that was a fun trip and a whole lot better going back home.
- Buzzcut1Nomad IIBlanco1 if you followed the threads on recent fitment and misship issues with Hellwig vs the lack of fitment issues or misshipment of parts with Roadmaster. Couple that with the fact that with one exception that I am aware of all the Roadmaster purchasers have notice a large improvement of their trucks ride. I would just say you get what you pay for. My money was well spent

I've learned today the the Roadmaster is about twice the price if the Hellwig.
Is it twice the performance?
I paid $415 for the rear and $375 for the front with shipping from etrailer. In retrospect they were worth every penny, the changes they both made to my trucks handling is dramatic. - Blanco1ExplorerI've learned today the the Roadmaster is about twice the price if the Hellwig.
Is it twice the performance? - pjay9ExplorerRoadmaster is the one to get!

I have front & rear on my Ford
$$$$$ well spend :)
What did the front & rear together end up costing you?
I've heard the front one is pretty big already . - Blanco1ExplorerLooked like from that link, that they offer 1 & 1/4 inch rear bar & Hellwig only offers a 1 & 1/8.
The additional 1/8th probably does help.
