That has got to be a joke getting 35% off from a truck camper. Like stated you might get that on a 5er, MH or a TT on the more expensive ones.
I would think you are going to be hard pressed to ever buy a TC with that much off and well go through many camping seasons trying before you get one for that price unless it was so over priced to begin with.
To the OP it is a little different on an RV than a car/truck as you well never find out how much the dealer is paying for them also the further from the factory the more the shipping costs. Unlike cars were they charge the same in the lower 48 for delivery.
All you can do is go in and low ball it and then try dealing with them to a price that both agree is a fair price and both are happy with. You can also try dealing with many different dealers and try working them against each other but you have to be careful on that as if the dealer you shut off from buying from is your local dealer, he can make it miserable for you to try and get him to do warranty work. Where I live I have to travel to get to any dealer so that makes no difference where I buy from as I don't PO any local dealer.
