As we go out to buy a tt (we are not buying new), I want to avoid picking up someone else's lemon. What should we be looking for? My husband is pretty handy and can figure out how to fix most things...

Take a moisture meter with you. Check everywhere you can. Uneven wear on the tires. If it smells "too clean", there might be mold issues.
