Reasons for people to dump their TT
As we go out to buy a tt (we are not buying new), I want to avoid picking up someone else's lemon. What should we be looking for? My husband is pretty handy and can figure out how to fix most things...

ALL of the above.....and I get concerned when I see the inside painted. Paint can cover a multitude of evils (mold). We like to buy vintage....they can be painted to be "cute", but we avoid those.
We had a MH with slides. Noticed something "wrong" with the carpet down by the bottom of the slides but didn't realize what that meant. It was water damage. We never could get that to quit leaking.
Also watch for leaks in the basement if you are considering one with hydraulic slides. We took ours in 3 times to be fixed (2 diff. places) and they never could stop the leaks.
Also -- if slides, watch for those that tend to tip down when extended.......
