If the seller doesn't seem to know a whole lot about the RV, its plumbing systems, electrical systems, etc. that (to me) is not a good sign. Some people buy RVs thinking they are maintenance-free and when they get home they just drop them and lock them up.
The guy who sold us our first TT shared a lot of information with us about how he used/maintained it. It was 14 years old at that time - turned out to be a real gem.
