I was over today to check progress, still working on getting the glue off. Plus they had a couiple of quick jobs to get done to get the cash flow going agin after the fire at Lentz.
The discussion was baout the slide, since it is in great shape..hooray!
Both the hatches were dry and no sign of any water intrusion. The walls are sound. So what to do as the skin will be faded once the nasty decals are removed...none going back! I said buff it out with cutting compound and was advised it still would not appear as good as the rest of the TC once it is covered. So it was decided to paint it, they get the paint matched to the batch of outside skin wall material, they say it will look excellent...they are the experts. So another decision done!
