Slide awning replacement fabric: The fabric is weather worn and pushed due to wind action when driving...it is worn where expose when rolled in for the most part. So I thought that I would go to an enclosed cover type from Carefree. Then I thought I'd add the Alumguard to the replacement order...that is not available for slides. The folks at the camper supply place that Lentz uses told us about a new product Carefree is bringing out just for this problem. It is a heavy type of flexible plastic that rolls around the end and provides protection. Problem is that the units are stuck on ships due to the longshore work go slow...so it could be weeks before it is available. My response was get it when it comes in and we'll install it then. Got to be so much better than the plain vinyl fabric. No, I have not found it on the Carefree site, but it is in the RV Suppliers book out of OR.
