Now that I am feeling better and the chest is out of my workshop I decided to recover the headboard. I am using a synthetic leather product in a brown and rich deep blue...this will match the valances and recovered seat cushions for the dinette. I also used batting to add more loft over the top edge of the board. I did not remove the old cloth and original batting. I think it will look good, funny most of it is hidden by the mattress and pillows. I guess it is the idea.
The old valance top will go back in as it has the embedded mood lights. This will give the area some depth and warmth, so to speak...even if it is blue tones. And cover the seam of the new interior panels from the front window elimination. Any ideas and pics of your TC's front area would be appreciated.
