Last week I was able to get to Lentz once and there was not much to report, BUT this morning I am pleased with the progress. Right off I have to say the under-slide sag is no longer there. The fix is very stout and was so easy...why didn't Lance build it right to start with!!! It would have been a small incease in cost to use better material and install better anchors...GHEEZZZZ!!!
This is the beginning of the rail fix under the slide. Inside the old thin Lance angle has been welded another angle with at least double the wall thinkness...It is welded all along with about 1.5 inch welds every foot or less...it ties into the vertical at the coner that has the jack bolt holes. That piece runs all the way to the top of the TC in that coener...amazing Lance did that!

Same corner with the manual cranck bar installed.

This is the other end tied to the wall between the inside and propane bin. 3 carriage bolts and welded. The tub wing carries on thru to under the bath sink along with the Lance angle stock. This will get additioanl bolts and screws.

Slide track system is installed. It needs some lube but the gears and slides look just fine.

Close up of rail system.

Inside of propane bin area...note the new wing extends on to the rear. Hole is for the propane venting of bin.

Inside under the bath sink taken from where the ouside shower fits in. This is the new wing and where it stops. I'll probably put a couple coats of poly once I get her home just to protect from spills and drips that may occur. BTW, I have tighten all the fittings under the sink...it was so much easier with the outside shower out of the way.

Underside of same as above.

Another view of prop bin showing the bolts for the tab.
