Some post back I made a statement that Lance had done something that made things good...I was a little hasty with my absolute praise!!!!
Today I was shown an issue that amazed me, but when I think about the way Lance builds... the wall is in a jig and it is all glued together then the movement issue is slight until S**T breaks!!!!
Explanation to follow: I showed you this image and said the the Lance iron runs all the way to the roof, which is good, BUT it is secured with 3 screws, so when the flex of the cabover is applied the top of the iron pulls away from the corner frame and bends the whole corner inward.

This is the corner with self-tapping screws on both surfaces of the corner, after an effort to flex everything back into correct alignment. (Cannot get it to be vertical from Photobucket)

Note all the shiny machine screws. (Photobucket vertical issue again>>>WT oh well you get the idea)

The pencil line is how far out it was...amazing that Lance cannot spend a few more minutes and some strong screws to do it right!!! BUT that is JIG building for you!

NO 1x2 for the new brace in that corner of the cab over...a 1x6 with good dollop of Slikaflex and then staples.

The window is gone...new frame and interior board.

No more flex in that corner.
