I have pondered the old style TV cabinet that used to house a slide system for a CRT TV, it had been modified to hold a Flat LCD and sat box, BUT the DW kept hitting the corner and it tore off the edge plastic and scuffed the fake wood paper applique...so it has to come out!
If you remember when the skin was off we found the screws from the outside and backed them out and the roof too. So now all I had was the inside screws, some were easy in the front post but the back two it turns out were installed before the pantry walls...So it hung there while I tried to get at them form the pantry...NOT!!! Pry bar...WORKS really well! Anyway the back corner is getting cut off so who cares. Now it is sitting on the mattress!

What do do with all the wires...radio, speakers, power for front lights, power for 12volt outlets, power for 120 outlet..wires wires wires!!! ALL THREADED THRU HOLES! Only thing to do is mark them and cut them...SNIP SNIP SNIP!

I am going to clean up the Lance mess...out of sight etc.... must be their motto!

Look at all the shavings I have been carrying around for 10 years!!!
Cut done, 15" deep lost 4"

New frame work, glued, screwed and pin nailed. Clamped!

After looking at the front the the mess the fake paper wood I decided to cover the face with the thin plastic sheet.

All glued on with silicon, cure overnight.

This is one of the parts of the project I was not looking forward to, just so many unknowns...but turns out that it is not as bad as I expected, many small bits to accomplish one by one.
