The following all started with sleepy and his chin spoiler air dam that I copied and then modified and then again... this is my final version.
I reused the aluminum support bars that I had used to hold the plastic rain gutter cover version...it got so brittle then wind pressure would carry bits away...so I vowed to build a better version during the 1161 Rebuild.
I was able to find perforated SS sheet that S & S in Tacoma cut for me at 4.5" by 10'. It has 1/4" holes.

Note the lower edge is a solid edge which means i did not have to come up with a edging as if cut the holes would have made a saw type edge...I got lucky the sheet had only been cut from one side.

Installed it on the truck using 6 screws and a good drop of sealant at each screw, the gasket is closed cell foam tape.

Line up is with the top edge of the windshield, gives good clearance if the TC rocks in the bed.

Retained the idea of using rain gutter plastic end caps as the end on the spoiler, so it gives a safer end and no sharp corners to gash your head on...not that I did but close. Gives a neat completed look.

Testing to follow over the next weeks. Starting with the angle at 22.5 degrees, that worked before but this is a little different so we will see if dirt collects along the sides of the TC and what the back looks like. Thanks again to sleepy for the original idea!
