A forum member "The TC Life" used to carry an Adventurer on a 12' deck which gave him a patio off the rear door. He removed the the TC bumper and made a cutout in his deck for the dump valve so the TC could sit flat on the floor. Both front and rear jacks required extensions to clear the width of the truck deck.
I have a short bed 9' TC on a 9' truck deck, but only 7.5' fit on the deck due to bumper, dump valve, low drains and generator exhaust. The front jacks are on swing out brackets, but the rear ones are still fixed at normal width. The additional space up front holds my spare tire against the headache rack until we get the new TC in the spring.
