Cool truck! I would ditch the flatbed, move the rear axle forward, and put a pickup bed on it. Then it will look right, and you can load/unload it with standard jacks. (with swing out front brackets)
Or build/buy a chassis camper, or mount the truck camper right on the frame and skirt it in to look like a chassis camper.
