Yikes... Brings back anxiety. Worth it all in the end, but scary at the beginning. Looking good. Can't wait to see the journey and destination.
Not anymore scary than my original plans to try to build a camper from scratch and definitely far less scary than your adventure as this one has been under cover for most of its life (till now).
Now, my only challenge is figuring out my A/C. I bought a unit, but unfortunately, its not one of the Duo-Therms that can be converted to non-ducted operation (Some of their line can do either), so I'm debating seeing if anyone wants to do a trade on craigslist, or I have a neighbor who is interested and I'll just sell it and put the money towards a Brisk Air II.

Looks like a great project.
When installing new running lights you will need to run 2 wires to each light as the fiberglass roof provides nothing to ground to.
i also had to run 2 new wires to each brakelight as a bad ground caused the brake lights not to work at all times on the snap & nap.
Good luck

Aye, gonna upgrade the gauge as well, still need to debate what kind of lights to replace them with. I like the looks of the originals, but their all in pretty brittle shape.
The only problem I ran into with the tail lights is their dim, and that looks like its from the bases simply having corroded up fairly well. I'm going to get some boat light bases to put inside the existing enclosure and then make the reflectors actually shiny.
