My husband and I have owned and used (a lot) a 30 foot Coachmen travel trailer for 20 years. It is a but raggedy and it is actually too large for us now. Having used it for so long, I know exactly what I would like in a new unit. 1. a comfortable walk around queen bed, but I know that is something I would have to 'feather' myself 2. Large shower and decent sized bathroom. No bathtub 3. dual recliners. 4. movable table and chairs for two. 5 pass through storage under bed. 6, mounted TV, and 7. maybe a little fire place. Newer style tv antenna that doesn't need to be cranked up. These along with decent storage and the comforts of most modern RVs would be welcome in a lightweight unit, under 22 feet. No need for a couch or bunks. Good solid handle near door for assist up the stairs. A simplified easily accessed waste hook up for dumping and a black tank flushing system would also be nice. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do the math and you'll find that stuffing all that into a 22' trailer just isn't realistic, even if by 22' you mean a 22' box and coupler to bumper length of 25'. Have no idea what you mean by "feathering" the bed. :h

The lack of a booth dinette is tough to find without going very small with a movable table in front of a sofa. For models with the recliners, Heartland prowler Lynx255 is about as small as you normally see. We just bought a Coach Freedom Express 192, the more I look at the thing, the more I realize how smart SWMBO is :)

Outdoors RV has smaller units that replaced the dinette with recliners and a small, almost coffee table between them. I know they had a 20fqs in 2016/17. Maybe 2018. The 20fq and fqs is gone for 2019.

What you described is pretty much what my wife wanted and we found it in our Jayco 28RLS. I think a fireplace may be an option. BUT I don't think you're going to find all of what you are looking for in anything under 22'. The 28RLS is 32.5'. I have not seen the combination of walk queen bed, larger walk in shower (no tub), table and chairs (versus dinette) and dual recliners in anything close to 22'.

Look at the Lance line of lightweight “TTs”, They manuf. everything from 19’8” OAL to 29’5” OAL. Their model #2285 might. Be just what you are looking for. Very high quality however they are pricy.
They is also a Lance Owners association (LOA) that are very informative!

While not 22 feet, more like 29 feet, it has what you are looking for in the way of no tub, a mounted TV, and a walk around bed.

Could always get a fireplace installed under the TV if you really want it. They are nice in that they provide heat without having to fire up the LP Furnace.

I meant that as far as I can tell, no moderately priced travel trailer has a comfortable mattress and I will need to put some sort of padding, ie memory foam, or replace the mattress altogether. I just used "feathering" as a term implying that the bed needs to be fluffed up or softened.
