Fancy looking is great today but not tomorrow.
I think a lot of people fall for lipstick on a pig. Thor is the highest selling manufacturer. That's proof enough.
thats not totaly fair now, thor must have one or two good lines. I remeber my 2006 wave was from thor california and it was actualy really well built. some times I wish we kept that one instead of buying the 5th wheel, but oh well.
Most RVs were better built prior to 2006.
in 2006 when I bought my 28BH wave, thor califonia was a different company than THOR. when they brought out the wave it was the first jbasice trailer that came with all the options, and even the new fancy dsi apliances, but the construction was the same as it is now so I'll have to call BS on that one. yes I will agree that during the covid years when sales exploded some units might not have been as good due to the incresed unit output, but overall for your normal brands I think they are just as good if not better than the old days.
I am finding when I liik at stuff now days the materials are better, the construction seams stronger and so on, there are always going to be exceptions. this is like us old farts saying they build cars better in the 60's than they do now. like hell they did, if you were in a car crash back then you had a much much higher chance of not living, they road like bobble heads, got horrible gas milage and required way more maintenance.
