Recommended clearance between cab over and truck cab

Quick question. Is there a minimum or recommended clearance between the bottom of the cab over portion of the TC and the truck cab roof? I have a 2018 F350 and a 2018 Northern Lite 811 Q SE. I current...

I have a sheet of 3/4" ply plus 1/2" rubber between my 2017 NL 9.6 and 2017 F-350, with roughly 1.25" space above the cab. We've taken some very big bumps on the road, with no indication of roof contact. I wouldn't use foam board either - in keeping with Keithmaryq's comment.
