reconsidering recomendataions on solar

I installed one 150w panel and an MPPT controller (all 8 ga wire) three years ago and haven't worried about power since. No idea what % my batteries charge, charging rates, ampacity of the wires, or anything else. (I have two mismatched "marine" batteries, one about five and one eight years old) I rarely, if ever, plug in to shore power and have never run out of power, even camped for a week in a heavily shaded site. Haven't checked the electrolyte level in the batteries after the first year of no change (I should look again!). Primary power use is the CPAP overnight, lighting is all LED. Much happier spending my time fishing rather than obsessing over the electrochemistry of batteries!
