Cyclepath did an inline amps test that looks like a good reading. 7.5 amps is quite a ways below the spec for cooling that Rec Pro states.

I did post that data a page back.
I have 13.5k unit and it takes 9 amps.
Saw that but we are looking at the 9.5K unit.
