do these little battery operated or 12 volt fans that go inside of frig really help with keeping things cooler

I have a very inexpensive plastic fan that runs off 2 D batteries and it really does keep air moving. Anything to give better circulation will help the fridge run better and more consistent. I think I paid about $15 for it ten years ago.
