Portscanner, you are right about the fan on backside of refrigerator. Our fridge has a fan and we even have a battery operated fan inside of fridge. We even use a wireless sensor to check temps of fridge because of all the problems with the thing. It is very seldom that the fan would come on, DH hates to hear it run. Lol... Our theory has always been that due to turbulence it messed up air flow causing the ammonia not to heat like it should.
