First off....congrats on the new RV!
Secondly.....make sure RV is reasonably level before turning that fridge on. Hate to start off with a new RV and damage fridge from off-level operation.
Note: fridge needs to be level when operating it when stationary/parked.
It's OK to run it ON when traveling cause the bouncing/jostling while traveling will keep the ammonia solution moving.
I only have a 2 way fridge...electric or propane so when we travel it's operating on propane.........and is safe to do so. If it wasn't safe I wouldn't want to operate it while sleeping.
