Or...do you have a friend who would go through the hassle for you? Send him the paperwork and the amount of $ needed, he can go get the plate and send it back to you. Our TT was purchased in OH and had a 30 day tag, which was plenty for us. If they actually want to see the trailer in person, won't work, will it? How about calling the license bureau or whoever and ask to speak to a supervisor. Sometimes they know the answers.
