Registration
I am buying a TT in Michigan in April but will not return to my home state of AZ for 3 months. I can only get a 15 day temp plate in MI and AZ ADOT could not offer a solution. Anyone out there ever done this or can anyone help me?

- I wouldn't just mail the paper work to your home state and have it titled there. Then have them mail your plates to the other address. Or once you have it titled you can get a license plate registration only for where you are.
- Could you have your insurance agent do it for you? Mine does my renewal each year.

Bill - Dealer or private party?
- Yes I talked with Michigan DOT, they offered no solutions and they have a 30 max on temp "plates". Neither MI or AZ has an answer. Surely there is a solution to this problem. Anyone??
- Are you buying private party or dealer? If dealer, they MIGHT be able to issue you a longer temp plate...IDK for sure.
Did you call the Secretary of State (MI DMV) 888-SOS-MICH.
