Removing 6 almost-new Golf Cart batts to go bigger

Long story short, I work for a company that's doing a lot of equipment upgrading right now, and part of that work involved swapping out batteries.
The ones I got were brand new, on a shelf of stock meant to be replacements. The new equipment uses entirely different batteries, so new or used, they all got surplussed. At $600 a piece, I wasn't complaining as they loaded pallet after pallet in my truck. It took two trips...

Basically these. Think Optima blue-top on steroids.

So I'm taking out my 6 Golf Cart batts and putting in however many of these will fit. Specs on the built-in converter/charger vs. what these require for charge and float match up surprisingly nicely, so that's a non-issue. My plan is to have roughly 1.21 Gigawatts of power. And when this baby hits 88mph, you're gonna see some serious....
  • Hi,

1.2 gigawatts would require an awful lot of batteries that are 2400 watts each.

I could believe 24 kilowatts, which would be ten twelve volts @ 200 amp-hours each.
  • Wow -- 200AH AGM battery. (I assume the 12 in the name means 12v) That's amazing -- mine are only 140 AH. But the retail is almost 3 times as much, too.
