A followup comment here, safety related, and I think it's been mentioned by others, but perhaps bears repeating. If you can leave the trailer hitched to a tow vehicle, with the parking brake firmly set ( in addition to wheel chocks for trailer tires ), it's likely a safer way to have the trailer jacked up.
