On a single 130w panel I would think the advantage would be small enough that a PMW controller may still be a option if the features meet your needs better.
MPPT controllers have come down in price a LOT.
Renogy has a very well rated controller on amazon. Their 20A version (can handle 250w solar @ 12v or 500w solar @ 24v) is only $109. And the 40A version (can handle 500w solar @ 12v or 1000w solar @ 24v) is $189. So under $200 for an MPPT controller from a reputable company that can handle 1000w of solar.
