For reasons I won't get into here, we had to re-adjust our lifestyle last month, and selling our truck was a major part of it. At the time we were thinking that since the TV will be gone we might as well put up the TT for sale too, but have started thinking that we'd hold onto it until we can buy a dedicated TV next year (we really like the TT). We know if the TT needs to be moved somewhere we could hire a tow, but were wondering if anyone ever rented a truck from somewhere once or twice a year to haul a trailer camping? If so, where would you get one from normally?
If you're talking half ton and moving a travel trailer, check Enterprise Car Rental. They rent F-150's at many locations if you don't mind driving a rolling ad................
That came to mind initially, but they aren't setup for towing TTs.
