I originally did that and it is was was the cause of the snafu in that link I provided.... EB sticks to rubber roofing, but did not that plastic bubble thingy. I placed the EB down on this fix to cover up some areas where the aggressive mechanically scraping hogged into the top of the roof... plus there was some of the adhesive schmeg from the original attempt of using EB. This new EB acted sort of like "roof trim" to cover any imperfections onto which I could attach the new components as shown.
Even if the EB would have adhered to the bubble, it is perhaps not a good practice because my first attempt at the preventative maintenance was done a couple of years ago... since that time, the bubble plastic from the the UV's broke down the plastic and it would have needed replacing anyway. Even thought my good intentions of EB'ing over the bubble edge-flange might have seemed like a good idea, it really is not in case one needs to replace the bubble.
