We had to replace one of our bunk decks this summer so at the same time we had the dealer replace the screw-down latches with the newer style "folding" latches that you see on the new campers. They were able to line up the new latches with the existing holes. If you are handy you probably could do this yourself, but it didn't cost much to have the dealer do it either. The reason I'm posting this is, the newer latches are SO much easier to use than the screw-down latches. Someday we hope to replace the screw-down latches on our other bunk also. If you have to replace them anyway it would be worthwhile to consider the newer style latches.
