replace spare at same time as tires?
I'm about to replace all 4 tires on my TT. What is the general opinion on replacing the spare tire at the same time? The manufacturing date on the spare tire is Sep/09 and its in good shape.

I always replace our spare when I replace the four tires on our TT. Relying on just driving the shortest distance on a spare doesn't work for us. Tire brand that I want may not always be available. Shops closed on the very day I might need a replacement tire. It may be a long distance to the nearest tire shop. Etc.
