Thanks for the comments: The heater was on when I picked up the camper new at the dealership. It has not been on since. We have been to Alaska and back and we have camped in the winter in the
South. We use a very small portable Ceramic heater with a thermostat.
Its only about 8" square and will run you out of the camper in a few moments. The central heater works fine, but is really noisy. The Fox is well insulated for a truck camper.
Losing the large storage drawer was matter of putting the tools in the Truck (under back seat) throwing away some stuff we don't use, and putting everything else in a tool bag stowed behind the recliner. I can access this area and since the recliner sets about 5" from the wall and is slanted, I have used all that space. From outside I still store and access the 12" alum plates I use to set the jacks on, My ext AC cable, my extra Water hose, my wading shoes, all my extra handles for the awnings and slide, my long cable for cable tv,and other things. We have managed to locate the important stuff to another location. I actually like the way we have stuff stored now, better than before. We seemed to have all the area underneath the table piled full of stuff all the time, now we can't do that.
