I completely understand. We are doing a trip soon so I ended up ordering a couple reg queen mattresses from Walmart which is already enroute which can be returned. Hence, reason why I choose that. However, we are now leaning towards getting short queen and just adding some sort of hinged plywood (moveable) extension and adding pad at the head of the bed so that we can walk around bed when not in use. Also, it would enable us to still use the 2nd bathroom entrance too. I ordered the "Deluxe RV Mattress" since it was the only thing we could get the quickest with refund policy. I really hope it works because hubby hates the stock trailer mattress and couldn't sleep well.
